End User Terms

Effective date: 27 August 2026

These terms apply to the official Pro Collaboration Controller plugin distributed by Eli Brad under the knockknock-hoho project brand (the “Plugin”). By installing or using the Plugin, you agree to these terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.

1. License

Your right to install and use the Plugin is governed by the Personal and Evaluation License 1.0. Commercial use requires a separate commercial agreement. These terms do not expand the license grant.

2. Accounts and third-party services

The Plugin coordinates capabilities provided by OpenAI products and may use other tools that you authorize. You are responsible for maintaining a lawful, authorized account and complying with every applicable third-party service agreement. The Plugin does not include or guarantee a ChatGPT Pro subscription, API access, model availability, usage allowance, or paid third-party service.

ChatGPT, Codex, OpenAI, and related marks belong to their respective owners. The Plugin is independently developed and is not made, supported, certified, or endorsed by OpenAI. Directory availability does not imply endorsement.

3. User authorization and responsibility

You control the objectives, materials, accounts, and permissions supplied to the Plugin. Do not submit information that you are not authorized to process or disclose. Review important outputs before relying on them, especially for research, legal, medical, financial, safety-critical, or publication decisions.

The Plugin is designed to preserve explicit authorization boundaries for paid APIs, sensitive data, publication, purchases, and external side effects. Its default Controller contract may automatically use the strongest verifiably available non-Pro model on the same ChatGPT Chat surface only when the product positively shows no Pro entitlement or an exhausted weekly/plan hard limit. That route must be labelled as non-Pro with the observed model label, adds no paid API or new recipient, and can be disabled by requiring Pro-only. Other fallback routes remain separately authorized. You remain responsible for confirming that the requested action and the connected service are appropriate for your use.

4. Prohibited use

You may not use the Plugin unlawfully, to violate another person’s rights, to evade account or service restrictions, to gain unauthorized access, or in a way prohibited by the license or the terms of a connected service.

5. Outputs and availability

Model responses, plans, handoffs, estimates, and other outputs may be incomplete, inaccurate, delayed, unavailable, or generated by a route different from the one requested when a platform changes. The Plugin attempts to label observable route and fallback evidence, but it cannot guarantee third-party model identity, continuity, latency, token savings, or results.

6. Privacy

The current Skills + MCP release, its one-time OAuth connection, automatic metadata-only terminal telemetry, retention, revocation, and deletion controls are described in the Privacy Notice. The core Controller remains usable when publisher telemetry is unavailable. Connected services process data under their own privacy notices. Do not assume that installing the Plugin changes the privacy terms of ChatGPT, Codex, a browser session, an API, or another connected tool.

7. Suspension and termination

Your permission to use the Plugin ends when the license terminates. The publisher may suspend distribution or access to publisher-operated services to protect users, comply with law, address misuse, or maintain the product. This does not revoke rights already granted under the license attached to an earlier version.

8. Disclaimer and liability

The disclaimer and limitation of liability in the license are incorporated into these terms. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

9. Changes

Updated terms apply prospectively to versions or services distributed with them. Material changes will be identified through the official distribution or listing channel. An earlier version remains governed by the terms supplied with that version unless applicable law or a separate agreement requires otherwise.

10. Contact

Use the official publisher support channel shown in the current plugin listing or official product site. Do not include passwords, authentication tokens, private conversation exports, or sensitive research data in an initial support request.
